If hop in a fridge during a nuclear explosion some people think it can actually save you from the blast. But this is not completely true. Well the fridge might actually offer some minimal protection from initial heat and radiation but if you’re anywhere even remotely close to the explosion the force of the blast would be to powerful . The fridge would likely be thrown violently causing serious injury or death.

Yeah, fridge is 💯 better
There's not much that can be done in the blast zone. But then there is an extended area that is much bigger. Glass will be shattered. Fridge should protect you from the glass.
