After a decade of ableton use I swapped to bitwig when I gave up windows. I wish ableton would make a linux port 😑
Im almost ready to dual boot again just to get around linuxs loads of audio issues.

love bitwig and ableton. i so hear you, just refuse to dualboot with winblows any more. pretty excited about this pipewire 1.0 release. finally after 15 years in development. going to install pipewire on ubuntu studio in qubes and see how it goes
This is probably my computer showing its age but the whole idle inject function of Linux when the computer starts to get hot absolutly nukes my audio. Making it hard to get in long sessions.
that's why I haven't set up dual booting yet. I gave up windows for so many reasons it would feel dirty crawling back.
oof. yeah that's not good. and good on you. i'm a linux max. i refuse to do it again. dirty af. i have winblows on qubes for one off situations and to keep up to date with win hacking, but i will never "use" windows for anything again
