I know that it's Monday and not #MusicFriday, but I'm currently listening to Sigur Rós - Popplagið. The band Sigur Rós means a lot to me and I wanted to share with you all.

I saw Sigur Ros in concert in Washington, D.C. in 2001. I would say this was a religious experience for me. They were one of my favorite bands of all time then & seeing Jonsi strum his cello bow across his guitar & sing into his guitar was incredibly beautiful.

Just listening to this song brings back incredible emotions for me. Please listen to this loud and with good quality headphones (which I don't own). Just take the music in. Experience it. It's long, but the melody builds and eventually unleashes about halfway through. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
