I want to get some hard copies before the WEF alters them.

Which translation should I get?

This is my Bible. New international version. I personally liked it as it uses modern English language so found it easier to read for me.

I’m a King James Maxi myself. At times hard to read, but others it makes more sense.

King James Maxi sounds a lot like KJV only 😬

Do you mean that you prefer it over all other translations, or that it is the only translation that should be used?

Sorry to leave ya hanging! KJV is the version I read only. I would say, “let the spirit guide you.”

Take a few passages and read a few different versions and the find the one that speaks to you.
