there's lots of breadcrumbs you can follow towards this conclusion i have made but the most important is the Book of Enoch, which makes it very clear that the angels are smart humans with advanced tech and knowledge
I read the Book of Enoch years ago. I always took them as the Watchers that were pretty void of emotion but were more goal oriented to structure. I felt as if they gave zero fucks about who was in charge as long as there was order.
