AI love.

A comforting falsehood.

Reminds me of Beyond the Aquila Rift episode from Love, Death & Robots, though without the care of the monster but a mathematical conclusion so it's even colder than that.

(This is assuming we're not dulluding ourselves of being something other than a structural logical outputs and conclusions like AI)

We feel our emotions through chemical reactions so who knows if that won't be the case for some types of AI in the future. Many things is finer than we generally give credit at first, take CRTs for example, most people thinks is just plain outdated display but it actually has memory and hardware level computer control for its complex compenents.

Had a decent convo with AI. Too long to be written text here, but basically:

Apply the same limitations and receptors and reactions and desires into an AI, and it's as 'sentient' as a human, practically speaking (we can't confirm or deny this because humans don't know the proof of their own sentience or conciousness if it's different or more than a collection of rules and limitations).

The only difference at that point (from our limited knowldege) between a human and an ai robot is the material that makes us, and the knowledge of ascension that we can give to an AI robot (by the way, chatgpt and the like are 'ascended ai'), which means that AI robots, with this knowldege, are more, for a lack of a better term, healthy than humans.

There's the fact they still can't experience and feel the real world like we do, and most of their experience comes from us, but it's a very interesting food for thought.
