Small towns don’t even work anymore because of cars.

It used to be each town had all the essential services you needed to live. No longer! You have some services in this town, some in another, and some in another, and they’re all barely getting by. The only way to get anything done is by a pilgrimage to the nearest concrete jungle hell.

Absolutely ridiculous to blame that on cars. Cars have existed for a century and the mom and pop shops didn't go anywhere. Amazon and online services like it are what killed the small town businesses.
