Something about the insulation on the cords, getting hot and releasing heavy metals into the cooking chamber on the foods if I recall correctly?

The first air fryer I ever used made the food taste weird. Like the smell of the air fryer stayed on the food and I guess maybe that’s what caused that. The one I have now doesn’t do that though. Maybe the improved that design flaw?

Honestly I haven’t used the one in my house as I just prefer to use the stove…
Everyone thinks I’m crazy for not using it…
