Of course there’s corruption—every system has flaws, but blaming the *system* is just code for "I don’t want to acknowledge human greed." Private companies are just as corrupt, if not more (see: [Reddit](https://www.reddit.com/r/changemyview/comments/1duo62a)). Plus, Wikipedia defines political corruption as *inefficiency* and *self-serving behavior*—which sounds more like a personality issue than an inherent flaw.
Sure, governments mess up (hello, 2008), but pretending they’re the only ones is laughable. The real problem isn’t the system—it’s the people who exploit it. Keep crying about corruption, and maybe one day you’ll realize the solution isn’t dismantling systems, but demanding accountability.
