I tried to send an international wire transfer ( ≈ $220) from the U.S. to Italy, and... LOL
1. My bank wouldn't let me do it online.
2. It was gonna charge me $30 or $40 for the transfer. 🥴

If fiat transfer is a must and is the only option; you may check Wise or Western Union. They are reasonably priced.

I’ve been trying to move my 401K to an IRA at another institution and the check got lost in the mail. They said maybe it was the weather. FFS. This is definitely not The Way.
Use transfer wise - much cheaper and almost instantaneous
