let me get this straight. you're gonna tell people to give real bitcoin to a cabal of strangers whose names you yourself don't even know. you're gonna tell these people to accept an I.O.U. in exchange. and in case these complete strangers decide to dip their fingers into the reserve, circulate unbacked I.O.U.s, or suspend redemption, absolutely nothing will happen to them. they don't get slashed, forked off, or penalized in any way and you can't even sue them in the government legal system because they hide their names. then you're going to parade your wisdom around on an exotic microblogging network and insist that these flimsy trash I.O.U.s are just a different kind of bitcoin. sure buddy, it's just a different kind of bitcoin. we just need to be flexible and get with the times.
