Broadcast will send the note to all connected relays.
The NIP-65 requires your followers to pull your notes from your "home" relays. Of course, that assumes their client uses NIP-65

And when amethyst finally intergrates with NIP-65 would this help to get my notes to my followers relays published? Since i might not be connected to the same relays their using.
