I would have coffee or equivalent every morning because that's what my parents raised me to do. over time I realized that it didn't matter if I had a coffee, I would still be tired in the afternoon, but if I didn't have the coffee I wouldn't be tired AND anxious. and if I didn't have the coffee I would sleep better that night, and I wouldn't need the coffee as badly the next day. so I realized the whole thing was unnecessary and I completely stopped using caffeine. my energy level behaves differently as the day goes by but I don't think it was better when I was drinking coffee.

Got to wean yourself off of it, find healthier caffeine alternatives, and go light with it.

I had to wean myself off of soda with tea, milk, juice, and ollipop, etc.

I drink milk, and kombucha mostly now.
