I tried out most of the flavors of Ubuntu just to see where the world of desktop environments are at.

KDE and XFCE win. I hope LXQT becomes the Qt version of XFCE but it still feels pretty rough around the edges for a plebian. It's a shame everything is GTK based.

I dunno, I sometimes miss the exploration of windows managers but I've used i3wm for over 10 years and I just feel gimped using anything else. Zero room for aesthetics. Gaps are gay btw.
