This port is quite new afaik. The mouse is controlled with the circle pad, but they actually utilize the dual screen and touch for inventory, skill screens etc. I saw this video the other day and had to try it.

Will do as well, thanks!

The guy also has another video about a virtual boy emulator for 3ds that actually runs full speed and does the 3d.

I tend to be enthusiastic when it comes to installing all this stuff but at the end of the day I rarely actually play the games. I don’t know why.

The idea is cool though and I am one of the few that really likes the 3D-effect of the 3DS but… the virtual boy games are kind of crappy I think.

Probably.. but it's the first time you can play them sort of as they were meant without strapping a virtual boy to your face πŸ˜„

I installed it because there is that one Lovecraft based dungeon crawler game and I found an English patch for it. Well and the historical interest of just seeing virtual boy without having to buy the hardware 😁

There is no other system that could do that other than 3ds and I am glad the community took and solved that challenge.

Nice step for game preservation

Same πŸ˜… just tinkering and making it run is half of the fun for me
