bookmarking this! i was interested in the idea too., and have started fleshing long-from (and short!) syndicated at brianflounders.com using this npub. it's github and cloudflare (so i did have to use email). i was just looking for other unhosted options. still just learning and exploring (so its buggy). love the contact form.
