Freedom is messy and it isn’t always safe. People need to stop worrying about protecting new #nostr users from this or that topic or feature. Let everyone who tries Nostr be as free as you were to enjoy and discover it. Just help them when they need it.

Being able to Mute others is a feature in of itself.

Agreed we shouldn't protect new #nostr users from such features. 🤗

💯 the option to mute people, keywords, etc, on an individual basis leaves the user in control.
