I think the vast majority of sane people agree on that. It’s when we try to define all those words that things get sticky - and even those being very careful usually get shouted down for trying.

Things like “consent” and “minor” are not words with built in definitions, and both are under attack and not safe to assume. There are plenty of things that are very clear, like a woman who flat says “no” or the five year old in the example previously given. Can’t be clearer than that.

Which is why I said edge cases. Life gets complicated and we pass laws hoping for the best and doing what we can. We agree that they will guide us as a society.
