2025 prediction for Korea.

All the political turmoil in South Korea will result in a civil war, breaking South Korea in to the new nations of South West Korea and South East Korea.

North Korea will successfully invade South West Korea, triggering an uprising in North Korea, splitting it in twain. The remnants of North Korea will unite with South West Korea, forming the new nation of West Korea. Meanwhile the rebel East of the former North Korea will become Northeast Party House, I mean North East Korea.

Hey, crazier things happened in 2024 😂.

the major cities in ROK are in the West, with the East sparsely inhabited

I think a North/South split is more likely than East/West, giving us South Korea (Gwangju), Middle Korea (Seoul) and North Korea (Pyongyang)

But a ROK civil war is exceedingly unlikely until after US troops are forced to withdraw

Once the occupying US forces withdraw from the peninsula I think lasting peace is much more likely than a civil war (but the two countries will remain separate, as too much water under the bridge now)
