The only things I would trust a doctor to do is mechanical stuff.
Set a broken bone, stitch a wound, replace a lost limb ...

Agreed. In the US, emergency medicine is the ONE thing you can count on. If you're in a car accident, fall off a roof, heart attack, stroke, etc., they are very good at saving you.
Anything else and you're screwed.
I sell to docs. They are the cheapest, people because they want greater margins for everything. They'll run the shittiest diagnostic equipment, won't invest in their team, and wonder why patients can't afford care without insurance (the insurance screws the doc on money)
Yea...I was in the medical industry earlier in my career. I witnessed the same as you. Some good doctors out there, but you gotta go find them. Most are motivated by money and personal promotion, etc...
