You need a better user experience. I have no idea what I am doing when I launch the app. The home button should be useful

I agree

But this does seem cool. I got updates to Apps before Google/Fdroid!

also small annoyance, can you remove the auto focus on the search input? it keep opening the keyboard when I don't want it to

You're right. Opening an issue for that now

I think I found a bug. Amethyst won't update

Can you share more details? Do you get an error?

No error. I click update from Zap store, It downloads the APK and Android prompts the user with installing it and then it disappears and goes back to zap store

Thanks, will investigate that

Cool. Other apps updated fine like Mutiny

Regarding the website zap.store......

It would be good to market the page to regular users and devs. Right now, it does not really speak to most users, only devs.

As a user, what is the value prop? Why should I use Zap.store. Permissionless App Store does not really speak to the regular user.

It would be good to have a high-level pitch to get normie attention first.

"Ok, so zap.store is ..........Let me try it!"

Yes, agree. Would you like to write a draft for the homepage?

Hmmmm....... I need the devs to tell me some things. Sell it to me as a normal non-technical user, why I need to use zap.store along with all of the benefits it has compared to Google Play/F-droid,others. Some bullet points to go off of. We can build a story from this for the website.

Some bullet point idea:

1. Trust - Get it from the actual developer

2. Privacy - Avoid usage and data collection from Big Tech or malicious app stores

3. Faster Update - App developers can publish right away without having to go through AppStore beaurocacy

4. Censorship - Get your app publish without Big Tech or Political Censorship

Also, some history of the company would be good for the story. Like where the developers came from and what the mission is.

Great release notes 😂

A tor proxy option to route all zap.store traffic would be welcome for private npub opsec.
