Venerable Dometie lived a life of profound generosity. He gave away all his possessions to the poor, embracing poverty for Christ. One winter, he encountered a traveler freezing in the snow. Dometie, with nothing else to offer, gave him his own warm cloak. Later, Dometie found the cloak returned, filled with gold coins – a divine reward for his selfless act of mercy.
