The last two pics look idyllic! I didn’t realise that area was so lovely and on our doorstep!
It is a pretty steep and rocky path but it is a beautiful area when you get to the bottom! The punchbowl waterhole hike is another good one in that park.

There were a few people around doing some of the easier trails but I only came across one couple coming back up on the gorge hike. The punchbowl waterhole hike is more popular but I still don’t see many people when I do that one.
It probably sounded like a weird question, but I’m female so it’s a kind of a safety in numbers question.

I understand. It’s not a weird question anyway. Phone reception is pretty patchy down in the gorge and I was a little worried myself that, without many people around, I could be waiting quite a while for someone to find me if I somehow injured myself..
