I was explaining poetry to my oldest tonight and shared one with him after some prep on how to appreciate structure, "show not tell", etc. He has now been ugly crying for the last hour and a half. I think I broke him.
Lowkey the OG Poet would be proud , coz that’s the kind of raw emotions he wants to convey to his readers
