Good afternoon!
I’m still here, although feeling slightly overwhelmed and disorganized.
What client is preferred ?
How many relays should I have?
I figured out zap.cooking so that’s progress #asknostr

Good afternoon , you can try many clients each client is different. I have tried damus, amethyst, primal and nostur
nice! Primal is a great start for clients, can be used on apple, android and desktop computer. what are you typically using to surf nostr?
habla.news and yakihonne are interedting long form article clients, zap.stream is for live streaming content, 0xChat is an interesting client too specializing in DMs, phone calls over nostr ( pretty wild to think you can make phone calls with nothing but an npub 🙂). happy to talk more on any of those if they interest you
I appreciate it! I’m using primal right now. Tried Damus. I dislike and like different things about both.
nostrudel and coracle are very interesting web browser clients, worth checking out lots going on in both
I’ll check them out! What extension do you use?
i use alby, which if you get mozilla browser is an available extension on mobile. but, you might not be able to use alby if you dont run your own lightning node at this point ( they made some invite only change a while back ). but other extensions that works on web based chrome or mozilla that ive used just fine are flamingo and nos2x
I’ve used Damus and primal, using primal atm was easier to set up wallet, info doesn’t need to be exact if worried about KYC
Primal is my favourite.
10-15 relays at most otherwise your client will load slow. I use Damus on my iphone, and it seems Amethyst is good for Droids.
Primal/Coracle/Nostrudel on web, Amethyst on Android.
I use these free relays.
