It'll only get better from here. And for sure musicians are loosing ways to earn money with their skills because of AI.
The interesting bit is how slow is the development of professional AI tools for audio (and music). The most advanced stuff is a browser based consumer facing slop machine while you're lucky if your DAW has some stem splitting functionality and that's it.
