People around you will respond in kind to your energy—positive or negative, generous or greedy, rowdy or calm, and so on. Realizing this became even more important as a father, seeing the impact my energy, my mood, has on my kids. It’s humbling.

My son is incredibly perceptive. He’ll hear a tone in my voice or see me make a slight facial expression and he calls me out on it. 🤣 He keeps me human.
