Replying to Avatar Nunya Bidness

After a year of 100% nostr usage I can safely say that I don't have a sick relationship with it.

I was pretty much addicted to Twitter. Scratch that. I was addicted to the hate machine, let's be honest. Nostr hasn't displayed that wall to wall hatred and anger so I don't feel drawn to charge my Id (the Id is kinda sorta the aggression part of the personality) with it.

Consequently, I have a completely different relationship with nostr and it doesn't include a massive time-suck.

Nostr is simply a healthier experience. If you are still devoting any appreciable time to legacy social media, stop. Get some help.

Nostr to me feels like real life, real people. It is more genuine. I started this year on Twitter or x or whatever it is.

It honestly feels like it is manipulative. I gave up. Only go there for news.

I actually feel like I have a growing community of friends here. Some I would like to meet with in real life.

Nostr is my social media home.
