The original sin was not tasting an apple. It was limiting free movement of other creatures.

That led to abusing one another, perversions like milking cows, domesticating bees and thus developing cancer, and before we know it, we are in the world as we know it.

Lesson learnt: develop weapons, kill your enemies and food, do what you've gotta do, but never limit the freedom of others.
