The freedom narratives around #bitcoin , help #gold as much - if not more !

You can simply find a replace bitcoin with gold in all Saylor talks - and they will still make perfect sense - only more because gold is

- most widely distributed

- least volatile

and most importantly - no need to self custody .. which is the biggest pain point of bitcoin .. I mean it is hard to remember my telephone number and you want me remeber 12 words ..really ! That is like remembering 12 passwords in one shot .. wow ..

You do self custody gold, and do take the risk of somebody snatching it away. You can travel continents with bitcoin in your head you can only try to travel countries with gold in your ass.

It doesn't have to be one or the other, I do like gold. It does have problems which bitcoin fixes, and it also has the time tested hardness bitcoin doesn't have yet.

I too like both .. in fact they are the same set of properties - one in physical with limitations of physical - other in digital with limitations of being digital .. but I dont like the idea of self custody - either gold or bitcoin ..

All my gold is in a bank locker - all my bitcoin with #cashApp or #coinbase ... I do have a #bitKey for testing but so far it is a no go ... why ?

because the chances of me forgetting the seed phrase or losing my cold wallet (bitKey) are lot higher than #block or coinbase going under water .. And I understand it can be different for other people ..

As far as moving my properties elsewhere because gov turned holstile - this argument is applicable to only .00001 % ultra rich .. try explaining this to someone who barely makes both end - which is like 90% of global population ..
