What’s the advantage of sending drafts to a relay? (i have never used Amethyst)

Drafts are always stored (encrypted) on relays, so you could pick them up from any client. Ideally you don't spam public relays with your drafts but hold them somewhere you can access them, e.g. locally.

My drafts from Damus should be available in Nostur and vice versa? (If we had that Amethyst feature). That’s pretty cool

Exactly. And to avoid spamming relays and as they are encrypted anyways just store them on a private relay. I use citrine (on android) on my phone plus when I'm on WiFi it's also stored on my relay running on my node.
