Not sure if you like history in general, but listening on nostr:nprofile1qqsx2wyjt6lmvc05rrvv05r5hm3w3t7h0pcpmkyswrpd4ymd2u09tscpr4mhxue69uhkummnw3ez6ur4vgh8wetvd3hhyer9wghxuet5qyv8wumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnndehhyapwwdhkx6tpds8vpwcw in ~20-25 minute episodes to a noted historian who lived before Christ was incarnate had been quite interesting. ;-)

Oooh I’m interested in listening to that, who narrates the Herodotus audiobook?

It is a podcast I found on Fountain. So far, 3 narrators in book 1, just starting book 2.

Thanks!

I always enjoy finding others who share some of my (varied!) interests :)

Same here! Herodotus’ histories has been on my list to read for a loooong time. Very interested in ancient history and medieval history

I’d also recommend the Fall Of Civilizations podcast. Very well done episodes with a lot of solid research, usually a poem or two read in that cultures language, what it would have been like to see and live through the end of your empire! About 18-19 episodes, often about 3-4 hours long… highly, highly recommend it!

Fascinating! will definitely check it out
