“I find it ironic that people who are against things that cause sexual thoughts are generally fundamentalist Christians who also believe you should be fruitful and multiply.”

What we compress expands forcefully. It takes a lot of energy to keep that spring pressed down

Booooiiiiinnnnggggg!

There's a lot of torque behind a hard on.

Grab onto it, and you will make a 250 pound man go to his tippy toes.

Six inches to lift 250.

I wouldn’t put it exactly like that. I’m just saying that when you suppress a fundamental part of your nature it works for a little while but eventually it expresses itself, often dramatically, in other ways

Totally get it.

Just being ass here, that's all.

Multiply yes but with lights out, jesus can't see those horrible things you do in the dark 🤣

You know what causes sexual thoughts? Having a penis.

Pretty sure my ancestors were like, “not sure whats under that bonnet but when we’re done this garden work we getting down”

It's about sex in the right context as designed by our Creator. Sex without limits is out of bounds because of that creational reality.

"Be fruitful and multiply" is God's command for those united in marriage. If you're going to critique Christianity, at least represent what it teaches.

Very true, religion teaches a social contract vision of morality. I prefer Utilitarian view so the whole religion thing is a miss for me.

The quote from Mr Hicks is aimed more at the individuals who think that they have the moral high ground over the egirls.

If you genuinely want to square this circle, the correct frame is that sex is sacred and is arguably the most powerful force that operates on humans.

The call, then, is to harness this force for its life-giving power while also avoiding the temptation to engage in it otherwise. When basic constraints dissolve, the effect cascades towards all manner of kink and perversion, not to mention destructive conflict.

First it's just the "liberation" of casual sex not aimed at reproduction. Then one after another constraint gives way, and it takes more to satisfy. Why not orgies and sodomy? Why not domination? Why not beastiality or incest? Why not children?

If you're looking for evidence, look no further than the abundance and variety of pornography made and consumed. Consider also that people monetize children as sex slaves. You need not agree that this is bad, but it is what the apparent contradiction that you cited is intended to protect against.
