Looks like it's doing well. If it's from a cutting it will really kick in on it's third year.

It will do, it wont hurt it. bees like comfrey flowers, just make sure they are purple, and look like upside down trumpets.
Whilst it's establishing let it go through its life cycle. Don't harvest any this year. You'll want all that energy going into the root system.
It looks like Bocking 14, wild comfrey tends to be a bit stumpier.
I had to try 3 times before I got any comfrey to take in my central TX yard and make it through a summer. The first 2 were from a local nursery. The ones that finally took and look good so far this year were from Brian nostr:npub17wmfr6m9y2p8jjzp8hsa53zl3hmc70n4hn3juydw4avjf256tscs4lt5f4 They're bocking 4, if he didn't lie to me.
Bocking 4 it is. Glad the plants are doing great. My stock seems to be a honeybadger for sure.
