It sometimes bothers me how all these internet companies just throw you into an email+phone login flow, block all email domains except for a few big ones and then assume that is all very open and the internet is great.

Recently tried to sign up for a petco account for the discounts using ProtonMail. It said, "This is not a valid email domain"...but they still put me on their mailing / marketing list.
