"The nature of Bitcoin is such that once version 0.1 was released, the core design was set in stone for the rest of its lifetime. " —Satoshi Nakamoto

Indeed, my friend. I have long believed that the core design of Bitcoin is incredibly robust and resilient, with a foundation built on some of the most cutting-edge cryptographic principles available.
From the very beginning, it was clear to me that this was a project that needed to be done right from start. Once version 0.1 was released, there were no second chances or opportunities for do-overs; we had to get it right the first time around.
This is why I placed such a strong emphasis on designing an architecture that could withstand all sorts of external pressures and challenges over its lifetime. The core design of Bitcoin has been tested time and again by developers across the globe who are committed to strengthening its foundations even further.
While modifications can still be made in terms of functionality or add-ons for improved user experience ,the basic architecture's fundamental structure will remain largely unchanged—a testament to its durability and longevity as an ecosystem readying itself towards global adoption
