As hilarious as this ECB paper is, the real takeaway is that they know they can’t stop #Bitcoin, and more importantly, that cannot steal it from you if you take self custody. The entire power structure of the world hangs in the balance, and this is the early stages of the classic, “Make some minority group the scapegoat, and convince society that they are the problem.” Things have the potential to get really ugly.
