Hellraiser (1 and 2), season of the witch, Texas chainsaw massacre. Probably 🤔🤔
Nightmare on Elm street has a phenomenal sound track.
Freddy is just to die for, something in the lines of vecna.
I adore the opening credits of season of the witch but the rest of the movie was not my thing
I suppose it's not really a straight up horror, it's slow and 70s, like a long anthology episode. But I liked that about it, it's a vibe lol
I think it's more 80's 😆
Pearl was good tho, you are right. Preferred it to 'X', super goofy. There's not been that many good recent horrors really. Malignant was fun, in a similar goofy way. It's fucking hard finding any recent releases worth watching at all 😭 regardless of genre even.
I haven't even watched X yet, but I know it won't be as good as Pearl! I'll probably wait for Maxxine to come out to so I can watch them back to back. Haven't seen Malignant yet but it's on my list. I'm gonna give Evil Dead Rise a try this week probably!
