not really divided. everyone just wants conservative politics now.

unfortunately 40 years of GDR damaged east Germans and they don't really share the western values or understand economics. Especially the Boomers.

they still believe in strong one party leadership and planned economy somehow, and doesn't understand the danger. CCCP good, USA evil.

west Germans and CDU voters are just smarter bc they have 40 years more of experience after WW2.
