Trump let Ross sweat one more unnecessary day while prioritizing pardons for both violent and nonviolent Jan. 6th capitol attackers who acted on his behalf. He could have pardoned Ross during his first term, 8 years ago—but nevertheless, Ross is free now, and we celebrate this victory, yet our fight continues.

Now we wait to see what it will take to finally pardon one of America's most courageous patriots—will Edward Snowden's freedom ever come?—will it emerge from presidential conscience, or will it require another "V4P" (votes for pardon) campaign deal?

The time for whistleblowers to remain in exile is over—we must continue to demand justice for those who risked everything to expose the truth.
