We need to rebuild Locals on nostr; it makes a million times more sense and Locals made enough sense to be a wildly investable company (albeit probably partially because of the influencer affiliation)

A Twitter competitor Dave Rubin launched a few years ago under the pitch of “own your audience, don’t get censored”
Same thing as gab/truth social/etc
But targeted towards influencers
Look at their roster, they have really large heavy hitters (in the conservative camp)
A bunch of my #freethink influencers moved from YT to Locals and I along with them. Locals over #nostr makes so much sense to onboard the next million normies.
Why?
Influencers get demonetized, quarantined, banned and have to censor their own content to keep their YT revenue incoming. Some just give up and their content is lost forever. The few try alternatives like Locals and have a loyal following just big enough to make it work. Imagine onboarding that pool of normies to #nostr and #lightning
