I dropped mine over a balcony last year and smashed the back like this!
Luckily for me I had insurance and got a new one, otherwise I too would done this!

Lol yea it would only be $29 with Apple Care but oh well. At least it wasn’t the screen. If so I’d probably be looking at a new phone.
