IMO it really just comes down to fatigue. I know I'm not the only one that bounced around a few of these "decentralized social media" shitcoin projects back in the day. Same as people who don't buy #Bitcoin because they've been inundated with so many scams; folks just have a bit of a firewall up that we have to give them grace for, and help show them how #Nostr is different.
