I don’t believe it is intentional. They just don’t care what the coffee tastes like. Because everyone usually buy pumpkin spiced lattes and the milk and flavors masks everything.

Yes Cardamom is amazing with coffee. I don’t believe they add it. I believe it’s just a not so good espresso shot.
