Humans having the ability to play god is a very silly human thought in my mind. Impossible
Pure intentions, I don’t doubt that. The produce human who are naturally resistant to specific diseases is just the tip of the iceberg in what is capable. Higher iq, larger physical structure, live longer…. possibilities are endless. I baulk when I consider the asexual.
I think the threat of in generations to come that the mass intervention of conception may render females incapable of natural conception, which effectively is population control. But that’s a whole other moral debate.
