TL;DR - I Fucking Love @zeus!

Had LND onchain transaction 3 months ago, intended to clear out my Node and start something from start, but the tx with 5 sats/vbyte never get confirmed ever.

I can't do anything stupid because it's not a small amount of sats, I know LND is something special, I asked some groups a month ago whether I can import the LND seedphrase into a wallet and do a fee bump or something, no one answered so I dare not do anything. I thought of doing fee bumping on mempool.space but the service charges much.

Lately as I was moving, I brought the Node hardware with me and flied tens of thousands km away, after settle down I thought this stupid LND node thing should be brought to a period so that I can start over, but the 5 sats/vbyte tx is still there waiting for confirmation, the nearest time is 7 or 8 sats/vbyte, but damn it never reach 5.

I asked ChatGPT what should I do last night, it told me to it's safe to import the 24 words seeds into any Bitcoin wallet and fee bump it, nothing affects the Node itself. Alright, fisrt I tried Sparrow, can't even type the last phrase because it was identified as an invalid BIP39 seed phrase, Wasabi Wallet same. Then I tried BlueWallet, it let me type over 24 words and the seed was imported as an "HD Aezeed" wallet, idk what it is although it's a special design of LND blah blah, weird thing is, it won't show the full transaction history of the LDN, I checked many times of the Electrs server, both public one and privite one, weird as always, only very few transations were shown in BlueWallet, most importantely, the un-confirmed last tx was not shown. Then ChatGPT told me the addresses starting with "bc1p" is Taproot type, which may be the reason underneath the many tx historys' disappearance, but BlueWallet does support Taproot, and so does Sparrow, both app in latest version. Weird, fucking weird, you know for a non-technical due like me.

I asked ChatGPT again and again, last question is how to import a stupid "HD Aezeed" wallet seed phrase, it suggested first ThunderHub, second ZeusLN, oh fuck, I had been using ZeusLN for always! And yes, ZeusLN can easily do a fee bump for the LND Node onchain tx.

Alright, case closed. I will ask ChatGPT to beautify this long ass boring story, but the core message is, I FUCKING LOVE ZEUS!

Good night.

### Why I Absolutely Love @zeus!

Three months ago, I made an on-chain transaction with LND, intending to clear out my node and start fresh. However, the transaction, set at 5 sats/vbyte, never confirmed. It wasn't a small amount of sats, so I couldn't afford to make any rash decisions. Knowing that LND is a unique system, I reached out to various groups a month ago to see if I could import the LND seed phrase into a wallet and perform a fee bump or something similar, but no one responded, and I didn’t want to risk it. I also considered using mempool.space for a fee bump, but their charges were too high.

Recently, as I was relocating, I took my Node hardware with me, traveling tens of thousands of kilometers. Once settled, I decided it was time to resolve this LND node issue so I could start over. Yet, the 5 sats/vbyte transaction was still unconfirmed, with the closest confirmation rates being 7 or 8 sats/vbyte—5 seemed unreachable.

Desperate for a solution, I asked ChatGPT what to do. It assured me that importing the 24-word seed phrase into any Bitcoin wallet and performing a fee bump wouldn't affect the Node itself. I first tried Sparrow, but it flagged the last phrase as an invalid BIP39 seed phrase. Wasabi Wallet had the same issue. Then I tried BlueWallet, which accepted the seed as an "HD Aezeed" wallet—a unique LND design. However, it didn't show the full transaction history of the LND, despite trying multiple Electrs servers. Crucially, the unconfirmed transaction wasn't visible.

ChatGPT explained that addresses starting with "bc1p" are Taproot type, possibly causing the missing transactions. While BlueWallet and Sparrow both support Taproot, the transactions remained hidden—a baffling situation for a non-technical person like me.

I consulted ChatGPT again, asking how to import an "HD Aezeed" wallet seed phrase. It recommended ThunderHub and ZeusLN. Realizing I had been using ZeusLN all along, I tried it, and it effortlessly allowed me to perform a fee bump on the LND Node on-chain transaction.

Problem solved. I had ChatGPT polish this long, tedious story, but the key takeaway is: I ABSOLUTELY LOVE ZEUS!

Good night.

Ah yes, the joy of running a node.

Afaik you can also convert aezeed format in bip39 format for e.g. sparrow.

Chantools is also really helpful to recover sats. But great to see that Zeus made it so easy.

Yeah another joy of running a LND lol! thanks for the additional info🫡 Zeus is really cool in many ways, respect
