Ppl have been convinced that their value is a function of who they are - not what they do.
"I/you got paid more/less because I am/you are a ______."
How about focusing on contributions made? If you're gonna argue you were underpaid, base your argument on what you actually did. Put that law degree to work. Argue better.
💯 No one cares how many degrees you have. What value you are bringing is more important.
