Has anyone used aspirin when growing tomatoes? If so, how did you apply it and what were the results?
Thanks in advance!

I'm trying it for the first time this year, but nostr:npub15879mltlln6k8jy32k6xvagmtqx3zhsndchcey8gjyectwldk88sq5kv0n swears by it on his podcast.
He described his method on a recent episode as: One pill in each cell of his six-packs when starting seeds, or three if he's using something like solo cup-sized. Three weeks later he puts one more in the soil next to the plant. He then throws three more in the hole when he transplants.
He said he still gets blight, but the plants survive. He thinks the soil in that area is improving every year because of it.
It definitely works to help the plants resist blight. It's not bulletproof, but it's a great cheap method to give your plants some protection.
I use three tablets around the plant when it's transplanted, then another dose every 3 weeks through the season. As the plants grow, I'll increase those additional doses - one tablet the first time, then two tablets for a couple of applications, then three each time for the rest of the season. We have a short season for tomatoes most years, the Texas heat burns them to death by July or August.
