People actually talked to each other in person. "Cyberbullying" was virtually nonexistent.

People were happy they could talk to the people they loved...They weren't lonely people looking for friends, but connected people who had just discovered an even better way to stay connected (or so they thought).

I talk to ppl irl, more than I’d like actually.

You should be thankful for the friends you have. I would guess most of the upcoming generation don't have any, or the ones they do have are fleeting.

Yeah, I got blessed with a group beyond my imagination (my church) but until then I knew 0 people

It’s a good way to find friends that a lot of ppl overlook.

On the contrary they found me at a antivax rally (I was there because I was lonely)

Most churches these days are abominable, it'd be hard to find a good one except by God.
