I think there’s a bounty out for a client that uses xmr or ln for zapping and yeah im pretty sure a implementation like current using cake wallet. And metamask is only like 1 step away.

That might be a good way to help onboard more users to nostr even if I dont agree with their investment choices.
Agreed. I’m not sure why an open protocol like nostr only started with the ln when the devs could have built a multi crypto wallet selector?
1. Because the devs dont consider other coins as legitimate form of investment
2. Because most multi crypto wallet are in fact a distinct implementation from LN. LN is not a blockchain. It is in fact a Bitcoin L2 with different architecture
3. Why should bitcoin focused dev focus on building other wallet support for an open source protocol. If the other wallet like, they can always make way for adoption
4. Because vc are not interested. They cant monetize their ponzi on nostr.
